Coming by car

From Marseilles: Take the Centre Ville exit - At the end of the slip road, take the first avenue on the right (MacDonald's on the corner) and continue straight on towards the east to the roundabout with the Avenue Robert Schuman coming off it (several roundabouts have to be crossed in succession).
From the A8 motorway: Take the Pont de l'Arc exit which will bring you to the roundabout for the Avenue Pierre-Brossolette (see map)

A car park reserved for readers is available from 0850: go to the barrier, press the ANOM bell and speak to the person on duty.

Coming by train

Caution, in Aix-en-Provence there are two stations, AIX-CENTRE (for the TER trains) and AIX-TGV which is a good twenty kilometres from the city.

From Aix-Centre station: 10 to 15 minutes on foot or take the bus Nos. 7 and 8 - Get off at Schuman

From the TGV station a shuttle goes to Aix-en-Provence bus station every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the timetables (journey 15/20 minutes). Once you arrive at the bus stop, it is about 15 minutes' walk to the Archives or take the bus No. M4 (going to Mail) and get off at La Beauvalle.

Coming by plane

Marseilles-Marignane airport: served by an airport-bus station shuttle every half hour from 0530 to 2330 (journey 35 minutes)
Once you arrive at the bus station (Quay No. 4) you can reach the Archives on foot (about 15 minutes) or take the No.9 bus at the corner of the avenue Pierre-Brossolette to the Schuman stop
