Pour la première fois un colloque international sur l'archivage électronique !

  Quand l'archivage devient électronique...
  Mardi 5 et mercredi 6 février 2013, les Archives nationales et les Archives diplomatiques de France organisent le premier colloque international sur l'archivage électronique, ouvert au public français et international.
  
  Ces rencontres donneront la parole à de nombreux archivistes confrontés à l'expérience concrète de l'archivage électronique, tant dans le secteur public (ministère des Affaires étrangères, ministère de la Défense, ministère de l'Économie et des finances, ministère des Affaires sociales) que dans le secteur privé (Orange France Telecom, Groupe La Poste). La dimension internationale de cette problématique sera aussi largement évoquée, notamment grâce à la participation des Archives fédérales suisses, qui témoigneront de leurs pratiques et de leurs réflexions.
  Car au-delà des questions de conception, de déploiement, et même d'utilisation des systèmes d'archivage électronique, le colloque mettra l'accent sur les conséquences induites par cette nouvelle forme d'archivage : adaptation des méthodes, des procédures ou des usages, voire refonte de certains concepts archivistiques. Symbole du partenariat qui unit les Archives nationales et les Archives diplomatiques autour du projet commun de création d'une plateforme d'archivage électronique définitif, VITAM (Valeurs Immatérielles Transférées aux Archives pour Mémoire), ces deux journées se dérouleront alternativement sur les sites des deux institutions : le 5 février, aux Archives diplomatiques, à La Courneuve ; le 6 février, aux Archives nationales, dans le nouveau bâtiment de Pierrefitte-sur-Seine.
  Quand l'archivage devient électronique... Les Archives nationales et les Archives diplomatiques souhaitent ainsi contribuer au débat sur les conditions matérielles et les perspectives théoriques d'une telle (r)évolution.

  When archiving gets digital...
  On February 5th and 6th 2013, the National Archives and the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France organize a conference about digital archiving, intended for a French as well as an international audience.
  
  During these meetings, archivists from the public sector (…) as well as from private companies (…) will talk about the way they concretely deal with digital archiving. To get a wider international view, the Swiss federal Archives have been invited to come and expose their own methods and approaches.
  The purpose of this conference is not only to share some experiences about conceiving, implementing or using ERMS, but also to focus on the consequences of such practices : the need for archivists to adapt their methods and proceedings, and even to redesign some fundamental archiving concepts.
  As the National Archives and the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been working together on the development of a historical archive-oriented ERMS, VITAM (Valuable Items Transferred to Archives for Memory), this conference will be held on the sites of the two institutions : on February 5th, at the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in La Courneuve ; on February 6th, at the French National Archives, in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, in their brand new building.
  When archiving gets digital... By promoting a debate on material conditions and theorical implications of such a(n) (r)evolution, the National Archives and the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France want to claim their own belief that digital archiving is one of the biggest issues for XXIst century archivists.
